ABOUT THE MURAL

This mural concept began by Steven Bearden, who wanted a picturesque view of bright, painterly sunsets and landmarks across the state of South Carolina. I created and drew a “timeline style” of a sense from left to right/sunrise to sunset: from Pretty Place to Falls Park, to Ravenel Bridge to Botany Bay, then finally the state of South Carolina with a palmetto tree.

The mural includes SIC’s motto and values, throughout the scenery of the state. Completed in May 2025.
